Back in Belarus, with her eyes on a professional dance career she spent all of her university nights with a private dance group specializing in modern dance. They performed all over the city and the capital in front of a crowd of a few hundred people. This was her passion until the day she came to the United States in 2004 to work for the summer on a student exchange program. Finding her life-mate here, she decided to make her life here all over again.
While working long hours as a waitress back problems started to nag her. In retrospect she saw that her aggressive dance training was part of the reason for this and she sought to find another physical practice that was healthy and fulfilling. In looking for alternatives she came upon Yoga and decided to give it a try. From the very first class she fell in love with Yoga and its practice. Tree months later she started her 200hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training program.
